Welcome to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Maternity.
The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Maternity (APPGM) is a cross-party group of MPs and Peers with an interest in the maternity services. Established in 2001 the group raises awareness of the important part that maternity provision has to play in improving women and babies’ health.
The All Party Parliamentary Group on Maternity works with the Department of Health, across Government and throughout the political spectrum to ensure that new parents have access to the services and support they need to ensure that the transition to parenthood is a positive experience for all. We aim to highlight maternity issues within Parliament and bring together health professionals and service users with politicians.
Parliamentarians, healthcare professionals, services users and the public are all welcome to attend our meetings and get involved, please see the Events page for forthcoming meetings.
